Anyone explain to this newbie how the tire would be falling apart like that on the inside (I'm guessing from the camber?) yet show no signs of uneven wear on the outside?

Had a rear OEM Diamaris stem popped out completely (the rubber surrounding the stem just break down), had a complete flat instantly. Good thing I was driving in traffic jam and someone pointed out the flat. That's why I switched to Pirelli, not sure but Michelin is just over price and under perform to me, maybe I am bias now.
