I'm not seeing how you made that determination. The tech sheet linked in post # 13 says that it meets BMW approval. It does not say it is the same thing.

In any case G-48 is no longer available from Zerex (which would make little sense if it was relabeled BMW coolant, actually vice versa) and they have replaced it with G-05 which the tech sheet, interestingly, does not specifically mention BMW approval (whereas the G-48 did since it met BMW's N 600 69.0 specification and the G-05 does not specifically meet).

Also, annoyingly, G-05 is yellow in color. Also strangely I believe G-05 contains nitrites, whereas G-48 was nitrite free; perhaps that's why it is not specifically BMW approved.
