I used the turkey basting bulb, it's better (albeit messier) to drain the tank but so far for me no problem and my X is turning 8.5 years soon..
Also I suggest for eveyone to just call the dealer for proper PS fluid. I called 2 dealers and both told me to get any Dextron III for my 2002 4.4i since none of them even stock any PS fluid. Can't imagine putting wrong fluid in the tank
