Looking at a clean 2-owner 2006 X5, 3.0i manual, xeon, cold weather, sport package with 36k miles.

I spoke with previous owner who had few if any problems. Car is clean as far as I can see. Factory warranty expires April 1.

I drive around 6000 miles each year. Nothing too stressful.

I am concerned with repair and maintenance costs and considering the CPO offered by the dealer.

What's a good price to pay for CPO warranty and would you even bother?
