It is confusing at first but you will get the hang of it soon enough. It does seem different than any other vehicle I've owned. The only thing I still can't figure out is why do I have a dial between the upper two vents to go from hot to cold when I have an A/C control unit that I am telling the very same thing to. Maybe there is a good reason I have to move the dial and adjust control unit to go from heat to cold or vice versa?
Kinda primitive for an vehicle with that price tag.
