That makes sense, although sometimes it doesn't beep at all...
Now that I think about it though, in 'Adv. Logic' mode, the V1 auto-mutes alerts that it knows are false alarms, so maybe it's just those that don't register at all below my 44 mph cut-off... and all the 'real' alerts still beep once.
(I suppose I could test it by switching the V1 to 'All Bogeys' mode and see if it beeps once all the time below 44 mph...
