Have to admit I didn't take it out myself. I mentioned it to my indy garage when the car was in for a service.

He just took it all out and tidied it up. Think he charged me about £40 for the time it took him to do it. And yes, it worked straight away afterwards.

He advised me that the Traffic Master was a simply horrid bit of kit and should always be got rid of asap as it's often responsible for all sorts of electrical issues.
