you are lucky then

aux fan should be a silent recall early part of the decade.

rear suspension of the X5 isn't the most reliable. things to look at for are the air springs/bag leak(either one side or both rear suspension will be fully lowered if you leave the car overnight, level up once you unlock or start the car), air supply device malfunction (if you hear a compressor like grinding sound, costly).

you can check self leveling by putting heavy cargo at the back. you will see the suspension adjust its height due to the load.

where did you have it repaired?

our X5 is a worker at almost 100k, if not for 2 years down time at the stealerships, it would have been more.

i can attest that its not true that bimmers are less prone to breaking when used a lot even when its meticulously maintained by bmw standards
