With everyones indulgence would like to revive this thread---- with that said is DEX VI basically Texaco ETL 8072B and or BMW part # 83 22 024 359 fluid ?

Wife owns a 05 X3- with 50k miles on it . Bmw stearlership charges an arm and a leg- literally for a liter of their trans fluid.....I know I'm beating a dead horse on this inquiry again, but Im such a worry nut, I do not want to end up with a 6k replacement bill months/miles later....
