thanks again for replying kiwijochen, but im really stuck at this.
i know the reverse signal should come off the reverse light and (as i dont have EDC) i can get a less accurate speed signal from the radio. but despite this knowledge i seem to have been unable to connect the right wires

can you spell it out for me as to which wires needed to be connected to which?
colors or photos would really help.
