I made another purchase at Newegg because the iPad-based product was not available on Amazon. After ordering, I remembered that it would probably arrive in manufacturer packaging (and thus make it clear that someone in the family was getting an iPad for Christmas). I contacted Newegg to see if they could put in a plain box. They said that they could not guarantee it. I voided my Newegg order successfully and am now trying to get the PayPal refund...
