So its been a week since I sent my car in and I thought i'd give everyone an update..

turns out there is an electronic control module that controls all the electronics of the car..apparently that failed so they replaced that.

Subsequently they found out that another module fried itself which also made the wiper relay burn out as well. They ordered the parts and replaced it today as well..

I then got a call from the dealer telling me that apparently it takes 10 hours to reprogram all of those modules!!

After the replacement of each module they told me the car would be ready the next day.. now its 5 days later.. anyone else had a strange experience there the dealer told them it would take a ridiculous amount of time to reprogram a car??

I'm not in any rush to get it back as they have given me a courtesy car though..but seriously what would take 10 hours to reprogram!
