The initial scan by the tech brought up glow plugs too, so i changed that first, by myself (thereby eliminating it as a possibility) even though I knew they are only used for cold weather starting when the diesel fuel mixture doesn't hit the temperature to spontaneously ignite during compression. There were no hard start issues then or now. I'm leaning towards the sensor replacement but I don't want to shoot in the dark with BMW's again. I haven't re-mapped the computer either.
