There simply isn't an easy way to get more power out of a naturally aspirated engine with simple software changes.
Funny that, neither did I JC. But I was attacked nonetheless for some obscure reason, for which I cannot for the life of me work out why!!?? And yes, there is a huge difference between mapping a diesel/turbo/petrol car to an NA car. Certainly I for one never disputed that nor claimed to say otherwise, I was, er, speaking from experience (with my black-metallic NA 4.4 2001 BMW sport petrol-engined 4x4 vehicle-NOT a diesel turbo) ...zzzzzzzZZZZZ Something to which I still believe is what the OP asked for in the first place.

I could quite easily go into the differences, benefits/gains etc associated with diesel/petrol/turbo engined vehicles, but like I said having read the OP's query I was led to believe the OP wanted to hear peoples experiences of having their car re-mapped, and again, that is what I thought I gave....?

Where's the problem?
