Of course, I don't want to do burn-outs (tires are too expensive), I don't want to show off, nothing of the sort. I just am curious why my V8 can't break the rubber loose from a stop. I've held the button down to turn off traction control and all that jazz...but it never breaks loose.

I just feel like a V8 should have enough torque to spin the wheels a bit, no? Am I dreaming?
