Is your X5 black? Wife and I were heading back to texas from raleigh,nc back on oct. 3 and seen a black X5 haulin some serious ass through the twisties in the smokies on I-40. Kinda wish we brought the 540, but an 18 hour road trip would have been kinda cramped. I was impressed with the X5 on how she handled the mountains. I was using sport mode that whole way through the smokies. Def. put a smile on my face.

Nexen aren't that bad. The X had the N7000 when we purchased and they handled pretty good. I went with Arttoro Az800. Good tire put noisy as hell after a few thousand miles. I may go with Nexen for the next set. I can't see spending $1000+ for tires. I was on a budget for the 540 and bought a set of N3000. I'm impressed for a cheap tire. I was used to michelin pilot sports AS plus so it's very hard to compare. Overal not a bad tire if you're on a budget.
