Ok so I was doing the trans drain and fill again. When I went to connect the GT1, it again would not connect for shit. 3 hours of messing around with it before I could do anything.

So here is what I came up with so far. I though the ODB2 port on the car was messed up. I decided to take that panel off, and pull the ODB plug out of the dash. Wires all look connected and in good order. Then all of a sudden, I see a resistor in the ODB port cover. It has 3 pins that connect to the ODB port when closed.

Anyone have any idea what that resistor is supposed to do?

Reason why I ask, is because I forgot to close that cover after last connecting the GT1. After 3 hours of messing around with the GT1, I closed that port. When I went to connect the GT1 after, I got a low voltage error, at this point, I started up the car, and the GT1 connected fine.

Is it possible that the resistor activates something in the port? So damn strange.

Going to try it again tonight. I actually killed my battery yesterday and don't want to run the car in the garage. So a friends booster is going to assist me today. I will let you guys know.
