Unless you can get the full service history on it, you would be taking a huge risk buying that car. And it is a bit pricey.....

In the last 10k miles I have done enough work on my '03 (now at 100k miles) that it would have cost far more than $10,000 to fix, including removing and disassembling the gear box and at that time I also renewed the leaking v-pan gasket. That was about 5k miles ago. It is running like a charm but I still need to change the valve cover gaskets and I think I need to replace the chain guides and maybe the chain.

So, if you have the FSH and a lot of this has been done the car would be worth buying. If you don't know the history, the car might wind up costing you the same amount again in maintenance.
