I quoted out the part. Retail it's $128. The wiring is around $300. I'm going to order the valve so I just have to drop the pan once. If its the wiring I'll repair it. But I'm thinking it's the valve.

Now what if I had a gear monitoring fault? I had that in another x5. I've basically did a dump and fill and it's been fine since but I recall that fault being the death fault and a rebuild is inevitable. True?
