Just want to make an update. I order the cold verison kit from Tisher BMW and finally had time to give it a try for my 2001 X5 3.0i. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to get the valve/separator installed. The insulation rubber wrap around the valve/separator taking a lot room. It sits in its position back to back and there is no room for the valve wiggling around in order to be connected with the connecting hose (part 11617533399). I struggled for an hour or so and finally gave up. I removed the insulation wrap and got enugh room to connet the hose (11617533399) with the valve. I don't know if 2004 (or later) model has more room to allow the cold climent version to be installed easier. I believe it would be a miracle if someone get it installed, properly and correctly, for 2002 through 2003 3.0i X5.
