sasolshares is on a distinguished road
Further details of my mod:
After endless searching for double tips online I ended up using WRS slanted tips from Halfords (they now sell them under the Ripspeed brand). The tip diameters are 63mm. Brackets for L & R boxes are slightly different due to the profile of the box end, consequently I had to cut the tips to different lengths. The cut end presents an oval shape to the box so the flat of the oval sits on the bottom of the bracket. The top of each bracket holds the top of the oval shape and a long bolt passes through the bracket flanges and secures the exhaust tip. Making the tips removable enabled the brackets to be accurately positioned, especially with limited space to get your hands in. It also makes it easier to get at the bumper carrier bolts should I wish to remove the bumper for any reason. All in all this was a cheap simple mod which has worked well for over 2 years now.
