If I understand your situ correctly, you have an E53 with the usual ~72 mm hub. You are going to put on E70 wheels using hub centric rings; that's fine.

Your current/oe spare wheel tire combo should still fit right on your existing 72 mm hubs. Rotationally, it should be very close to those E70 wheels; close enough to get you home/service, etc.
