I pulled mine off today and remounted it. The 100 degree sun helped the old adhesive come off. I also rubbed with a microfiber rag to get the remnants.

I'm still waiting for the mount to dry so we will see if it works or not... I applied a very liberal amount and pressed out some excess to try to get the bubbles.

Also another thing to note that I just kind of accidentally learned - the sensor is held to the mount by two sliding locks on the sides of the sensor. The slide down maybe 1/4" towards the dash on both sides and then the sensor just falls off the mount. Maybe other people know this but I sure had an aha! moment when I got that!
