hi all, we are expecting twins and i'd love to stick the chicco keyfit 30 rear facing infant car seats side by side (one in the middle and one behind passenger seat). i'm a tall guy so its very uncomfortable if one of the seats were behind the driver. 2012 X5 35d.

see attached picture of the mock-up. i am securing the outboard seat with latch and the middle seat is secured with the middle seat belt. i cant use both latch because i would have to share one of the latch anchor points in the X5, doesnt seem safe that way?

the seats are touching each other side by side, as you can see in the photo. other than that, it seems to "work" and everything seems fine. but my main concern is safety, is this safe/approved method?

i couldnt find any info in the manuals or from searching online... hopefully one of you have experienced this. thanks!!
