the top board you pulled is the preamp section of the DSP unit, the lower is the amplifier section. it looks like the cell brain was screwed into the amp section. did you notice any damage on the bottom of the board?

It's not screwed into the amp, it's screwed into a plate attached to the amp and that was a factory mount.

As I stated in the original post, I have zero plans in spending money on the factory system when my long term plan is to replace the system with an after market.

Thanks for the info. For me I just used my ears to guide me. I listened for the best sound from each speaker as I connected the wires together. I have great sound coming from the speakers, no buzz, no engine noise and no buzzing when the headlights are turned on.
