Oh yeah...and a pretty tight fit, too.
Not only was the e34's battery under the rear passenger side seat...so was the e32 7 series...and if it had the electric rear seats that reclined...OMG...what a pain to get that seat back together. I'm so glad they moved the battery to the trunk on the e39 & e38.
