Battery Tender installation ..

I see the positive terminal connection .. where do I put the negative terminal? She has to sit for a while.

Under hood. Driver side fender. Looks like a giant copper bolt.

this is nothing - my wife's first car E34 - needed to do something with the battery... nowhere to be found... definetely not under the hood... not in the trunk... someone suggested, it is in the wheel well... nope... someone said that germans use special stuff that does not call for a battery in their cars... no way!!! cool!!!

about few months later, we found it... under the rear seat... go figure...

Oh yeah...and a pretty tight fit, too. Not only was the e34's battery under the rear passenger side seat...so was the e32 7 series...and if it had the electric rear seats that reclined...OMG...what a pain to get that seat back together. I'm so glad they moved the battery to the trunk on the e39 & e38.
