Hi,

i am a new member in this forum i like so much. I'm a owner of a BMW X5 4.4i 2001. My problem is a i got a DTC P0705 by scanning my car and i noticed with this message Trans. Fail safe prog on the board. My PRND is often turned off while driving. Sometime when the car is at a rest for a long time and i start it on, this PRND is switch on at P position and R,N or D which is normal but when start driving and braking, the light goes off and the message appears. Did anybody have the same issue? Your help would be much appreciated.

PS: when i drive for a moment and park the car. it would'nt start anymore. i have to wait for certain time to start it again.
