Windows 7 has different directory structure and a couple of other features that aren't compatible with some older XP programs.

There is a step to verify the ODB setup in the registry. Don't skip this part. I had some inconsistencies in the registry that kept my setup from working correctly.

Also, don't forget to install the USB driver for the diag head.

The video instructions are very good. Use the pause during the video so you can get each step installed without having to memorize it.

if you have tried everything and still can't get it working, try wiping and reloading windows. There may be something previously installed on the system that interferes with all the GT1 stuff. I had this happen on one laptop I was setting up. The other one I setup had no issues at all.

If anybody needs help with the installation, post here and I'll try to help you through it

I needed drivers for the cable that will work for windows 7. where you get the 7 drivers? the romanian guy sent you 7 drivers?
