Dear technicians!

My 2001 X5 (E53) 3.0i is giving me troubles with the ABS-system
While braking at low speed, the ABS kicks in immediately (vibrating braking pedal) and after short while the ABS-Brake and DSC lights lighten up.

However, when stopping the car and restarting, the problem disappears to show up whenever wanted (could be after a day, could be after an hour).


Bad ABS-sensor?
Bad ABS-computer?

Anyone having experience with this problem?
