I've done a number of searches but have been unable to find anything that matches the problem I am having. I have a 2005 X5 3.0 and within the last year a problem has come up where the seat belt dash indicator and audible alarm will go off even though all seat belts are fastened. I've localized the problem to the front passenger seat as it only happens when someone is seated in the front passenger seat but I'm wondering what is causing this issue and how I might fix it.
