E53 2004 Xenon Light Question. Maybe, just maybe....
...someone can answer this question (even if 90% of members are in the US so may not have a clue what I'm talking about).
Recently had a prang in my LHD 2005 X5 with bi-Xenon lights and have just sourced a used replacement n/s Headlamp unit to subsitute the damaged one.
The replacement light is from a UK spec RHD model (both have the same clear indicators).
For some reason they are listed in RealOem as different part numbers, but considering that the X5 has a manual adjustment for LH/RH driving, I'd expect the lights to be the same, or will I have problems with the LCM? Is this even an issue with Xenon (which should all point straight, no? Ballast etc. etc.)
I could also strip the innards from my light and fit them to the donor light if the LCM becomes a problem.
Not really expecting a huge response, but just in case there are any European members out there... any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers, Kev.
