It hasn't been a good year for my X3.
Things are starting to wear out simply due to age. Still planning to retire it mid to late-next year. The fuel bill is heavy and it doesn't meet my environmental preference (291+ g/km CO² is worse than a X5 35d). That said, it still drives brilliantly and brings a nice chuckle on the mountain roads.
Still looking at the Mk7 Golf TDI. It will bring less joy for sure, but I have other priorities (I brought a 3.300€ bike back from Europe) and MTB is easier to get that adrenaline rush.

Don't you live in 'Murica?
Congrats on turning 12.
I took my parents' X5 to college this year and it has been going strong so far after nearly 11 years and 113k miles. It has an awful shimmy/pedal pulse under hard braking so it will need some repairs once it goes back next May.
