I spray painted my hood vents and hood grills using Dupli-Color Silver and gave it about 2 to 3 coats about a month ago. Over the past week driving through heavy rain I noticed the paint chipping off both from the grills and the vents. So I wanted to know what would be the best way to remove the paint as I want to go back to the original black color. I got some fine sand paper but looks like it's going to require quite a bit of elbow grease and also might scratch the grills.
Any tips/suggestions would be appreciated.
