I'm new to the forum but have been lurking around here for awhile and my wife and I are about to purchase a 2010 or 2011 X5 35d. I'm tall, 6'6" and have a hard time finding SUVs that are comfortable. My question is the seating options on the X5. My BMW dealer informed me that the multi-contour seats MAY give me more headroom than the base or sport seats because of the adjustability. Any truth to this? I sat in an X5 with what I believe were the SPORT seats and my head almost hit the top.

To be clear, are these the MULTI CONTOUR seats?:





And are these the regular sport seats??
