no, this one did not have a vent kit, so i reused the one that already was in the car. At first, i got an H8 battery from Wal-Mart, rated at 900 CCA, the battery tested over a 1000 CCA out the doors... Later, in 3 weeks, the battery tested at 700 CCA, and after a recharge by wal mart, they gave it back to me at 800 CCA. I returned that battery (the voltage was at 10.45 V steady which is far less then the nominal 12V. the battery did start the car, but it was a very weak cranking... someone earlier mentioned that the walmart battery may have had a bad cell... i agree with that, but don't need that much aggravation for my own money - so i returned it.... neither battery came with a tube kit
