I've told the story before, but my local UHaul, not bad guys at all, told me they couldn't install a hitch. I told them I didn't want a hitch, I had one, I just wanted to rent a trailer. about two years ago i rented a uhaul from a local shop... they were all fine until they saw it was an X... then they said no, we can't rent it out unless the hitch is a factory hitch... i told them it was... they actually went outside to look and they were satisfied...
after i swapped the hitch from the old 4.6 to the "new" 4.8, i too, can appreciate the details in the engineering thought...
