Many thanks for the reply Price - you seem to be an expert. I take it the water gets onto the electrical bits of the injector & wiring & damages it that way. Do you know the part number for the injector & the plastic partition that leeks water. Would the wiring have to be replaced as well. Mine is a 2007 X5 so it would have the earlier design. As a precaution I would like to replace this part as well.
