Or, you may have to look at what's installed in your vehicle...a previous owner (PO) may have upgraded the BT (TCU) module...where all you would need is the Pass Key Code to pair a BT phone to the X5.

Even though BT can now be had in a Ford Fiesta (is that Ford's base model now?)...this was not the case 10 years ago in 2004. Sometimes we can forget how fast technology advances.
