Just passed 115,000 miles in my 3.0d. Total repairs to date:

- Interior light cable connected, it was not wired at manufacture
- Two parking sensors, front, either side of the number plate
- Becker BM54 radio amplifier fix (worth doing anyway as it improves the audio)

Total cost of non service/consumable repairs £220 / US$360 in nine years. Still averages 33mpg (UK, about 27.5mpg US), is on only its third set of tyres as they seem to last 40,000 each time.

Car feels like it will do a lot more miles. Best car I've owned, will be sad when the day comes to part with it.
