The bushing does not rotate or twist. The end with the bushing is held in place by a bolt. The metal center of the bushing rotates around the bolt as the suspension moves up and down. The difference in stock bushings from Powerflex bushings is lifecycle and how much the materials compress, as an example, when you hit a bump.
