The bushing does not rotate or twist. The end with the bushing is held in place by a bolt. The metal center of the bushing rotates around the bolt as the suspension moves up and down. The difference in stock bushings from Powerflex bushings is lifecycle and how much the materials compress, as an example, when you hit a bump.

The stock one does, and that was the point I was trying to make. The tension strut bolt can be torqued with the X5 suspension in any position and it makes no difference when you have the PF bushings installed.

My pass side mirror used to go down when backing up.
Now after adjusting the mirrors a bit more to my seat adjustment...it doesnt go down anymore? What's up with that?

And when I got my X. The FOB wasn't working. How can I tell if its dead or not programmed?

On the mirror, check to see if you have the switch (left-right adjust) in the correct position. I can't recall which it is, but one position enables the down tilt and the other disables it. If that isn't the reason yours stopped, I've got nothing!

for the mirror sliding the switch towards the drivers mirror makes the passenger mirror tilt down when backing up.

I actually don't like the tilt.

I do have to get around to figuring out why my driver side mirror won't fold in, though

most likely a limit switch problem.

Hmm.. well, it will start to fold, then pops back out. I should investigate this sometime soon.
