BMW Tire Rotation policy--not covered?
"I would recommend rotating your tires, but BMW's position is to NOT rotate tires, and replace them two at a time." I don't know about all of you, but I have noticed significant ride quality loss when driving with an old and new set of tires on the same vehicle--sometimes shaking in the steering wheel occurs, not to mention traction inconsistencies. Does anyone's dealer recommend differently? Is the iDrive system easier on front tires, and there is no need to rotate? Your thoughts? |

My opinion is what you don't need to rotate or do an alignment unless you detect abnormal driving dynamics. Heck, if your BMW has staggered wheels and tires, you can't rotate. Don't bother.
