JV is on a distinguished road
Hotels near the location for WFIV

I did some checking- Listings from lowe$t to highe$t rates per night within each category...

In the $55-$100 per night range (1.5-2.5 stars- that usually means no room service):
Travelodge, Cambridge Inn, Vagabond Inn, Royal Sun Inn, Ramada, Best Western, Quality Inn

*Most of those are in Palm Springs proper*

In the $100-$150 per night range (2.5-3 stars):

Indian Wells Resort Hotel, Country Inn & Suites Rancho Mirage, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites Cathedral City, Hampton Inn Palm Desert

In the $150-$250 per night range(3-4 stars):

La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa (not a La Quinta Inn- 4 star resort), Courtyard Palm Desert, Wyndham Palm Springs, Embassy Suites Palm Desert, Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa-Rancho Mirage, Doral Desert Princess Resort- Cathedral City, Hilton Palm Springs, Hyatt Regency Palm Springs, Hyatt Grand Champions Resort & Spa- Indian Wells

$250 & up per night(4 stars):

Desert Springs Resort & Spa JW Marriott Palm Desert, Westin Mission Hills Villas-Rancho Mirage, Westin Mission Hills Resort- Rancho Mirage, Parker Meridien AKA Parker Palm Springs

I used Expedia to check rates and checked rates for only a one night stay on 10/28 (Sat. night). Some hotels are offering "stay 4 nights for the price of 3" etc. via Expedia. Personally, I'm not flying 6,000 miles for a one-nighter!

I think the La Quinta Resort may be best for all of us...920 guestrooms= less chance of overbooking, 42 pools, spa for the ladies, golf for the fellas and rooms start at $150 per night going up to $300 for a "villa" near the spa.

Chime in so we can get this shizzle on the rizzle!
