When I booked online it said it was going to charge my card.

Hmm, that is suspect....Usually hotels bill for the first night as a security deposit....That is what Venezia in the Venetian did when I booked it back in August for last weekend's conference.

I agree. After staying at all the major hotels all around the world literally, I have yet to see a hotel bill for the entire amount. They also didn't tell me that they will bill the entire amount..

That's what they did in my case as well. Perhaps a single voice for all can carry more weight than one. I will be calling American Express in the morning. If they did what they were suppose to do the charges would be on the next billing cycle and that would be better.

I didn't get my bill yet but I do remember when I booked online it said my card would be charged $500 something, not the full amount.

They did state they would charge the entire amount to my card. It may be unorthodox, but they DID inform me. I had no problem with it.

My CC charged in full here, too; they said that on the on-line
Rezzy form and again on the confirmation. Not "standard" to my mind, but the 6 Ben float is not gonna cause me to miss lunch. It is what it is...no real rant, here. BR,mD
