Window trim removal DYI

Has anyone removed the window trim? How is the DIY guide on the home page? IF someone has done this please feel free to reply, and give an estimate on difficulty, time etc... I can not take the chrome any longer

the trim is easy to take off, just pop it off with a plastic tool, the door panel itself is a little bit trickier, but the trim is really easy, just work your way from the back to the front with the plastic tool and it should loosen up and pop right out

EDIT: i saw you mentioned window trim specifically, what i would take a look at is the Bavarian SoundWorks (BSW) Stage 1 installation video on their website, it does a great job of explaining how to get everything off

I guess I was asking how the write up is...I assume the pictures are helpful? I saw the thread where he talked about making a write up, then it appeared on the pay/donate/premier site

Ok, I checked my TIS CD and there are articles that teach you how to remove some window trim. This is for the trim on the doors, at the bottom of the windows.
You need tools 00 9 318 and 00 9 324, I'm sure you don't HAVE to have them, but it would make it easier.
It's just that tool 00 9 324 goes into the door and pries the trim out with tool 00 9 318 guiding it.
For the rear quarter window (one looking into trunk), you just need 00 9 318.
The tools are from the Assembly Wedges kit. 00 9 324 is a trim remover (metal plate) and 00 9 318 is an universal wedge.

Edit: Looking at the rest of the articles, it is pretty much using the whole Assembly Wedges Kit (00 9 310) and popping everything out with the removal of one or two other things.

Edit #2: From the almighty search gods, I came up with this too! Pics!
