335 stearing wheel on an X3?

Does anyone know if a 335i stearing wheel will fit on a 2004 x3? and the other way around? I have a 335 and an x3 but i want to get paddle shifters on my x3 but i still need to make sure the x3 wheel will fit on the 335. I know this seams odd but if anyone knows let me know thanx!
