Painting Ext. Black Trim to match?

Those who have done this, how did it come out? Did you have problems with peeling or other negative issues thereafter? Oppinions?

Thanks

LeMons blue. Silver looks sharp but I'm a bit concerned if the Blue will be as nice. My biggest concerns are how it will last. Any issues with yours? How long ago did you have it done? Did it need a special paint or prep to come out well and or last?

I bought the car as second owner on 2006 and it was already painted. I only re-painted the front bumber few months ago due to an accedint ... It is the same as for the painted bumbers with all pros and cons
There are several all-painted blue Xs here ... let me find them for u

Wow my garage looks messy!

I work with a great body shop, who does an excellent, professional job. I love the way my car looks with the painted ground effects, but sometimes I regret it. I find these small paint chips where rocks or other debris may have hit it, and it drives me nuts! If I were to do it all over again, I wouldn't paint it, but just add a the 4.6is (or 4.8is in your case) spoilers, fender flares, and the stainless steel side steps.

The black part is not meant to be painted, therefore it is tough to get the paint to stick... I guess.

But to each their own is what they say! If it makes you feel good then do it!
