Please post your X info in your sig.....
The article section has a wealth of info. http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/...non-bulbs.html

Depending on the year of your X, angel eye upgrades can be limited to just bulb swaps.

the Xenon bulb is on its way out - light output changes, the light is flickering as the salts ignite and then solidify again, as their electrical properties are gone...

When you get the new bulbs, replace both sides, even though you might be tempted to replace just one side and not touch the other - the broken in light bulbs have the color output shifted, so the new light and the old light will look a bit odd...
and make sure, that you are NOT touching the crystal glass with bare hands, you will kill the bulb in a month... use some gloves or whatnot...

have you signature updated with some basing info...

x2 on replacing HID bulbs in pairs. Last set I got was Morimoto 5000k D2S bulbs from theretrofitsource.com for 50 bucks. Much better than the old days of 150 per bulb!

Used them before, and Currently have those in the retro I did in my jeep.
The mori's are about as close to an oem bulb you can get in the aftermarket. The quality and ouput of them is nothing to sneeze at! At 50 bucks they're a steal!

thanks for yours and everyone elses input. I was able to replace both xenons and they work great. I bought the 50$ pair suggested at the end of this thread.
