You owe more than its worth. I would replace the motor and continue driving it.

Wow bummer. Take it to a mech, maybe it's not as bad as you think.

Get a thorough checkup. Unfortunately that debt is going to keep you in that car for a while longer. Hopefully your troubles are not as bad as you think.

I'm with Dinan and Slick. Get a new motor. You've recently spent tons of money on the car; by selling you'd only be taking more of a bath than you otherwise would. Most importantly, you're upside down on the thing.

For what it's worth, are you sure the block is cracked? You didn't mention whether the truck runs, but if it's spitting oil then I have to assume you've at least started it. Also, I'll have to assume it was driven home. That said, assuming it was driven home and it's not stuttering like a SOB, the block might be fine. You might only have a blown valve cover gasket, head gasket, rear main seal, etc. Take it to the mechanic and have it diagnosed.

Let us know how you get on and Good Luck!

I bet that the hose is all eaten by an oil,the one from the cyclone to the crankcase.
When I did my Valley Pan,I had swapped the CCV and the cyclone was completely clogged with goo,but if it wasn't,oil would be pouring like hell from there because the hose was as soft as condom latex
